Elvis died more then a quarter of a century ago, but there’s one sure thing: at Wally’s Farm he isn’t anywhere near dead. For the past few years, on 15th August,
Wally has organised an Elvis festival in the meadow behind his farm. He organises is on that public holiday, because 16th August is the day Elvis Presley died.
A big tent is put up in the meadow. In this tent there is, among other things, a ‘Remember Elvis-Mass’ with a gospel choir at 12 o’clock.
Afterwards there’s a Western meal. From 3:00 p.m. onwards, several bands perform.
If you don’t feel in Graceland yet, you can tame a real bull (a mechanical one, of course).
There’s also a covered wagon shuttle to bring you from the parking place to Wally’s Farm. For reservations, please contact Wally's Farm.
